The 7 Tips You Need To SPRING CLEAN Your Health Right Now!

Hey DivaGals: it’s #TransformationTuesday! You’ve probably spring cleaned your home and your wardrobe . . . but how about your health?  Here are our tips to SPRING CLEAN YOU!

Eat Healthy Food. The food you eat directly makes up your body and affects the way you function. You can’t out train a bad diet. You might think that it isn’t affecting you because you’re not putting on weight, but it could be affecting you in ways you can’t even see. You should make sure you’re getting lots of vegetables and other whole, healthy foods. You can afford to have treats here and there, but they shouldn’t outweigh the healthy food.  

Get Regular Exercise. Regular exercise may not be as important as filling your diet with healthy food, but itΓÇÖs still really important. ItΓÇÖll help you to ward off disease and illness, as well as manage your weight. Plus, once you get into a good routine, itΓÇÖll make you feel amazing! You just have to try it for a bit to see how great it can make you feel. You can even start off by walking if you donΓÇÖt usually exercise, to help you get into other great forms of exercise. Toss Those Bad Habits. Bad habits are bad habits for a reason. They donΓÇÖt do you any favors! The most common bad habits are smoking, drinking, taking drugs and eating lots of junk food. Work out what your bad habits are if you have any and work on getting rid of them. There are all kinds of help and support groups out there if you donΓÇÖt want to do it alone.

Keep Your Mind Healthy Too. This isnΓÇÖt just about keeping your body healthy. You want to keep your mind healthy too! You can keep your mind healthy a number of ways. Make sure you keep it strong by challenging yourself. Speak to people you love, make new friends and try new things. As long as you have a sense of purpose and you challenge yourself, youΓÇÖll keep your mind healthy. If you start feeling depressed or low in anyway, make sure you get help ASAP.

Get Checked. Make sure you go for your check ups. This includes doctor, dental and eye health check ups. You might discover that you need new contact lenses and glasses. DonΓÇÖt put your check ups off for long!

Drink Lots of Water. Water should be your go-to drink, so make sure you drink lots of it. At least eight 8-ounce glasses, which equals about 2 liters, or half a gallon a day, should help to keep you as healthy as possible!

Take Your Vitamins. You should be getting a lot of vitamins and minerals from your food, but you can still take them alongside your diet to help enhance your health further.
