ABC swears it hasn’t selected the next Bachelor yet.

But that didn’t stop the TV Divagal from helping The Bachelorette‘s Kiptyn Locke, rumored for weeks to have locked up the spot, from starting his PR campaign!

“It’s something I think about. I think it’s a good opportunity,” he told me.

“I definitely would have some questions about it, but I believe in the process, having gone through The Bachelorette. So I’d consider it.”

I’m sure you would, Kiptyn!

And while he didn’t get the girl in the end because Jillian Harris is “crazy-in-love” with her fiance Ed Swiderski, Kiptyn’s happy for the cute couple.

“If she wasn’t happy, I’d have different feelings about the situation, but I’m happy for her, and I think that’s what we all ultimately want, for her to be happy.”

Ah, spoken like a true gentleman!
