The Devil Wears Prada 2 Is Here With Couture, Confidence, and Miranda’s Icy Comeback

Ladies, pull out your favorite Ferragamos because the Devil is back in the office! The Devil Wears Prada 2 has officially landed on our desks, and we couldn’t wait to jump back into the glamorous world of Miranda Priestly and former minion Andy Sachs.
Our favorite “serious” writer finds herself back at Runway, but the stakes are higher this time as she steps into a powerful editor role. Of course, it’s still no picnic trying to please the ultimate fashion editrix. Miranda is still perched firmly atop her throne, though even she has to navigate the “delicate” task of commanding a new generation of assistants who don’t exactly jump at a coat-toss the way they used to.
The film is tight like a well-fitted corset, featuring a sleek storyline that dives into the relentless demands of journalism in this fast-paced digital age—something we here on the DGD editorial staff can certainly relate to!

We are absolutely head-over-heels for Bridgerton star Simone Ashley. As one of Miranda’s newest recruits, she is even sharper than Emily ever was and tailored to absolute perfection.
What hasn’t changed? The breathtaking couture! From razor-sharp tailoring to unapologetic, statement-making looks, every look feels like a masterclass in modern luxury. Design is part of the story, especially for Emily Charlton, who has made fashion branding her career. Runway still sets the standard, reminding us all that style isn’t just what you wear, it’s how you command the room.
Then there is Andy’s earnest (if sometimes misplaced) heart, and Miranda’s legendary, icy stare. which both come back in full force.

We were lucky enough to attend the premiere, which was an evening of fashion-ready activations. We spent the night playing in the virtual Google closet and even got to star on our very own Runway covers.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is now in theaters. That’s all.
