Every woman deserves to look fabulous! The DivaGals had a wonderful empowering afternoon at United Nations Headquarters as Project Runway wunderkind Christian Siriano debuted his capsule collection for Lane Bryant, the company dedicated to celebrating a womanΓÇÖs curves. And yes, we were on the rooftop!

Curvy celebrities Danielle Brooks (Orange is the New Black), Amber Riley (Glee) and Sports Illustrated cover girl Ashley Graham sashayed down the outside runway in bright prints, bold colors and form-flattering shapes.

After the presentation, the DivaGals attended the inaugural WomenΓÇÖs Empowerment Summit, designed to honor and acknowledge all women. Jill Scott and Sheri Shepherd shared a few words about empowerment, inclusivity and celebrating your curves. Selenis Leyva also has a few words about embracing and celebrating your curves.

We snapped pics with Zach Miko, the first male plus-size model, and a new fave #WBWD, and took home a fabulous goodie bag with the latest issue of Glamour magazine, one of the event’s sponsors, a gift certificate to curvycouture.com, and dolls from the Barbie Fashionistas line, a new collection reflecting the different sizes, shapes and colors all women come in. That is definitely GAL APPROVED!
