TV HOTTIE OF THE WEEK: NYC 22’s Harold House Moore

By   |   April 19, 2012   |   Entertainment

The DivaGals know you’re still dreaming about NYC 22‘s major hottie, Harold House Moore. We caught up with the TV newcomer at the Paley Center for Media to find out a little more about him.

Tell me about your character.

I play Jayson “Jackpot” Toney, a former NBA basketball player. He’s kind of squandered his chance in the NBA. He goes home back to the projects he realizes that he can do something different with his life. He wanted to prove to himself that he’s more than just a basketball player. So he becomes a cop in his old neighborhood.

The show is shot in Harlem. Are you a New York boy originally?

I’m from Detroit, Mich., so this is all new to me.┬á I have to thank my middle school teacher for pushing me to pursue my dreams. He used to use reverse psychology on me. He’s say, “I went to college, and you’re smarter than me, so I know you’re going to do better than me when you go.”

How would you describe your personal fashion style?

I’m varied. I’m moody. Sometimes I throw on sporty stuff, sometimes its jeans and demin. It just depends the situation. Whether it’s urban or its flashy, I like to do what most people wouldn’t do, like wear my belt to the side, or mismatch colors and it ends up working better than most looks. I’m a chameleon.

Catch Howard work his best look ΓÇô in NYPD blue ΓÇô on NYC 22, Sundays at 10 p.m. on CBS.
