By   |   May 13, 2014   |   Entertainment

Pitbull got the party started at the Fox Upfront 2014. He’ll be rocking in 2015 for the network on Dec. 31. But we know you want to know what to watch this fall. Check out some of our can’t wait to see picks below!

Gotham (Mondays, 8 p.m.)
WHAT ITΓÇÖS ABOUT. Ever wondered what Gotham was like before Batman donned his super suit? Travel to the city where Bruce Wayne grew up and find out how Catwoman, the Joker and Penguin, and yes, the caped crusader himself came to be.
OUR DIVALICIOUS TAKE. Jada Pinkett Smith stars on the series, and she looks like she can kick some serious booty.

Wayward Pines (Midseason)
WHAT ITΓÇÖS ABOUT. A special agent (Matt Dillon) searches to expose the secret of an eariee and mysterious town that people are dying to get out of. Literally, it’s the only way out! Terrence Howard stars as the town’s “that’s just the way it is” town sherriff.
OUR DIVALICIOUS TAKE. Created by M. Night Shyamalan, Wayward Pines brings back images of Twin Peaks, which was a major hit for ABC in the nineties, mixed with the song “Hotel California.” And the major payoff is that this extended mini-series wraps up in 10 adrenaline-rushed episodes.

Grease Live! (2015)
WHAT ITΓÇÖS ABOUT. Fox will bring one of TV DivaGals’ fave Broadway/movie musicals alive in 2015. Sure, we know its on the heels of NBC announcing their live productions of Peter Pan and The Music Man ΓÇô but who cares? The more musicals, the better! According to Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, the production will feature a “young ensemble cast,” yet to be announced.
OUR DIVALICIOUS TAKE. We’ve got a major casting suggestion: how about Taylor Swift for Sandy, Drake for Danny — and you might as well cast Rihanna as Rizzo. Now that would be some serious OMG TV!

Empire (2015)
WHAT ITΓÇÖS ABOUT. Lee Daniels, the executive genuis who brough us The Butler, explores life inside a hip-hop empire, as a father tries to figure out which of his children can take over the business. Because family conflict is always a hitmaker.
OUR DIVALICIOUS TAKE. With stars like Oscar-nominated Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson and original music by hip-hop hitmaker Timbalan, it’s a glitzy soap opera for all races.

Also look for Oscar winner Octavia Spencer to star in the tear-jerking drama Red Band Society, pictured above. (Wednesdays, 9 p.m.)
