Super Bowl Greatest Commercials 2017 (8 p.m., CBS) It’s an interactive countdown special where you can vote live on  for your favorite “Bigger is Better” or “Less is More” Super Bowl commercial! Five classic blockbuster, star-studded Super Bowl spots representing “Bigger is Better” face off against five smaller, simple yet powerful spots that represent the argument “Less is More.” Which side are you on?

Madiba (8 p.m, BET) BET kick off another three-part miniseries, this time honoring legacy of the iconic civil rights leader Nelson Mandela. Based on two Mandela autobiographies, Conversations with Myself and Nelson Mandela by Himself, the biopic tells the most personal and comprehensive story of Mandela’s life, focusing on the man, and his innermost thoughts and fears as he fought and sacrificed for freedom to become an international icon. This highly anticipated television event will run over the course of three weeks in two-hour installments.

Showtime at the Apollo┬á(8 p.m, FOX) Steve Harvey once again hosts a talent showcase of music and comedy at New York’s Apollo Theater. Performers include Chaka Khan, T.I., Meek Mill, Mike Epps and Gabriel Iglesias. And donΓÇÖt forget to bring your claps (or boos) to Amateur Night.

The Quad SERIES PREMIERE (10 p.m., BET) Follow the scandalous lives of a newly elected university president of Georgia A&M (an HBCU), her administration and the entering freshman class in this new soapy drama. It’s the guilty pleasure you didn’t know you can’t live without.

Powerless SERIES PREMIERE (8:30 p.m., NBC) Go inside R&D of Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises (thatΓÇÖs Batman) that specializes in products that make defenseless bystanders feel a little safer.

Training Day SERIES PREMIERE (10 p.m., CBS) Justin Cornwell has to teach an old dog clean tricks when the new officer is paired with the seasoned rogue detective, played by Bill Paxton. Learn more about their onscreen and offscreen relationship!

FRIDAY, Feb. 3
Santa Clarita Diet SERIES PREMIERE (3:01 a.m., Netflix) The Hammonds’ lives are turned to mush – literally – as wife Sheila suddenly has an insatiable cravings for brains.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend SEASON FINALE (9 p.m., The CW). Just as Rebecca is starting to feel good about her life (she’s engaged! Her dad came to town! she made out with her hot boss!), Josh is having doubts about their future. Will these two actually make it down the aisle?
